Popular restaurant with locals using fresh local produce when available And homemade desserts. Tasty Mexican & delicious dinner salads along with changing entrees & drink specials. Quirky relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and great service. A great place for families or to meet friends.

Have eaten here several times over the years. Food is wonderful. So many good things, it's hard to choose. Best of all, most of the menu is very healthy, yet scrumptious , which rarely happens to me . Highly recommend. Staff is really fast & friendly. Check out hours of operation. They close at 2pm for lunch mostly. Worth the... More

Excellent range of vegetarian and non vegetarian sandwiches: range of fresh breads and fillings. Good range of cheeses and other vegetables in rather large portions. Had we known it was open in the evenings, we would have gone there for our evening meal as the menu looked particularly good for groups of vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

This small store front restaurant has excellent food and great service. We had a group of 10 and everything was received in short order. We all felt the food was exceptional. We especially enjoyed the Tomato Basil Soup - one of their specials.

Surprisingly delicious meal at Sweet Basil. We had the chicken & shrimp flautas and the chipotle chicken salad. Both were excellent. Quality ingredients, cooked well.

This is one of those often overlooked but very good places. It is a small café set in the heart of downtown Lyndonville. Small, but delicious and interesting menu. Because there are not a lot of tables, the setting is quiet and intimate. Nice place for a date or just lunch/dinner with friends. You should try it out.

We keep forgetting about this gem. Once again we had an incredible meal, served quickly and hot. The flavors were complex and well balanced. The server did her job efficiently and pleasantly. We will go back again and often.

Interesting menu of Mexican and Italian dishes. Prices vary from less than $10 to under $25. Plus, they make a mean martini!

Hubby & I were looking for a place to go to lunch on a rainy afternoon. We'd driven by Sweet Basil for years & never given it a second thought until I checked Trip Advisor for reviews. The stellar reviews here are right on the money! The atmosphere was very pleasant, relaxed & friendly (even though we arrived 10 minutes... More
