We went for a special occasion and had a delicious meal. Some of us ordered appetizers which looked really good. Everyone loved their entree,I had the steak au poivre. but the real treat was the dessert!! Order the profiteroles....these are the real deal, homemade and 100% delicious!!

I waited a few days to write this review because I wanted to think about the experience a bit before writing this. We had a group of 5 and I called to make a reservation. Upon arrival, we asked if we could be seated outside. The hostess told us that the service might be slower outside since the servers had... More

Thanks to TA reviews we gave this a try - it was wonderful! Great service plus delicious and creative food. The chilled turnip soup was a real treat, along with braised beef entrees. There were a number of menu times we would like to try!

I have dined at Henry's several times and have never been disappointed; it should be known that I am hard to please when it comes to dining out. I have yet to have an entree that hasn't "wowed" us. Dina's deserts are to die for.

Very nice restaurant on the way out of Manchester. They seem very dedicated to getting it right. Everyone says that they have a great caesar salad and this place really does. Foie gras was excellent as well. Entrees of spice-rubbed chicken and shrimp were also excellent. Very homey experience with the chef/owner Henry walking out to greet diners. Overall we... More

This is our second time eating here, and we had a great dinner. I had sweetbreads, and my husband had grilled tuna. The place was empty, which really surprised me even though it was mid-week.

After a full day of skiing at Stratton Mountain, my partner and I discovered this charming restaurant on the way back to our hotel in Manchester. The bistro may lack ambiance, but the food was exceptional. We did not have reservations and ended up at the bar, but had a lovely meal (the oysters were excellent and the lamb superb)... More

I am very sorry to hear you felt that we were 'Nothing Special' and the food lacked flavor. We try for bold flavors in all our dishes. I will be sure to remind my cooks to check the taste of everything we produce. Proper seasoning makes for delicious food. As far as the interior being 'a disappointment' I would only... More

Nice location. Ambiance was OK but expected more character than we experienced. The New Year's Eve menu looked great. Ordered the peppered Steak with French Onion Soup. The steak and soup were above average but was disappointed with the sides - overcooked green beans and mashed potatoes that could have been the real thing but tasted like instant. Poor selection... Thank you for your review. I am not quite sure what you meant by character in describing the ambiance at Bistro Henry. As the chef and owner, many call me a character, so we should meet. Our mashed potatoes are always made from potatoes, butter and cream, never instant. Our beer selection has since been revamped. Check our website for... More
