My husband and I have eaten at the Ye Ole Tavern a handful of times. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is professional and attentive. The hostess and waitress we had during our current visit were top notch, juggling a number of tables and patrons at the bar seemed easy to them. The filet mignon was melt in... More

The venison was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Dining in a historic building with views of the wood fireplace on a cold winter night, I couldn't think of a better place to dine.

My husband and I ate dinner here for a romantic evening and they did not disappoint. We happened to be lucky enough to go there on the night of their once a month candlelight dinner. With the entire restaurant under candlelight and a cozy fire what more could you ask for. My steak was perfectly done and tasted so fresh.... More

I'm truly pleased you had a chance to join us for dinner, and were able to enjoy Our Candlelight Dinner Series. It's a lot of fun, seeing how our 18th Century Guests would have experienced Ye Olde Tavern. Hopefully you can come back and visit us again someday. Until then, thanks for joining us and the review. Great menu. Variety of choices. Food delish. Old time tavern set up with little rooms, nooks and crannies. Candle lit and cozy.

My wife and I had dinner here while staying at the Taconic Inn in Manchester. It is one of the truly historic structures in the area in which dining is available. They have taken pains to maintain the historic old motif. There are a number of small dining rooms which are reminiscent of the 19th-century inn experience. The food was... More

My husband and I dined here after hearing about its great reviews. We love the old school charm of Manchester. Upon entering the place resembles a 19th century home converted to dining, separated rooms and dining areas. There are many old pictures and artifacts on the walls, all adding to the 19th century charm of the place. The lighting was... More

From the food to the atmosphere, we want to provide nothing but the best, so I'm glad you found your time with us enjoyable.
