Ate here first time after 5 trips to Jay. I'd go here before any of the resort places now. A little dark but food was very good.

It's a very charming, rustic, friendly, former small school house, turned into a quaint family-friendly eatery with small bar. The locals swear by it. Our experience was mixed. We went on two consecutive midweek nights (school vacation week), ordered different foods. We all felt it can be hit or miss with the menu items. The hamburgers and the mussel appetizer... More
Very friendly staff. Place is a bit dark and dreary. Food is ok, a lot of fried stuff. I had the pork, which was good but nothing special. The twice baked potato is really (too!) filling, there should be more potato and less butter/cream/milk.
Large menu excellent seafood and steaks. Great service, awesome sunset. This is a small establishment and it fills up fast after the lifts close.
This was our first time at Belfry. We ordered the Vermont cheddar burger and the chicken sandwich. I think both needed a lot of seasoning, but the fries were awesome. The drink selection is solid and reasonably priced. Service was decent.
Stopped in here on our way to Jay Peak- bartender was so friendly and even gave us some tips about the mountain, the locals were equally as helpful. The bread w mushroom sauce(can't remember how it's listed on the menu) was AMAZING, and the potato skins were awesome. Loved it!
On holidays at Jay Peak resort. Dinning out at The Belfry (10 km). Old rural school revamped in a cozy and rustic restaurant. The food was delicious. We had both soups of the day (chowder and a pumpkin soup), and then the crusted spicy scallops and the fisherman's special. All dishes were delicious and so rich in flavours. The only... More
Warm and lovely atmosphere. Bar service excellent with great and generous adult beverages. Menu was deep and the entrees we selected were of very high quality in taste, presentation and quantity. Finished off with an unreal key lime pie. Highly recommend.
It's always a must to eat at the Belfry, be it après ski and or dinner. Friendly, fast service with fresh tasting food. Check the chalkboard for the daily specials. Casual, easy going atmosphere. Very consistent food and service.
Decent apres ski food⛷. Most of us got the Jay Peak burger which was okay. Would have liked a better bun, the fries were greasy and the coleslaw was not tasty at all. The French Onion soup was excellent. We got the lager beer which was a bit flat. If you go get there early it fills up fast!
