Unreal - such an amazing meal in my own backyard! Why did it take us so long to find this??? I can only say this quite possibly was one of the best meals we have ever had. The restaurant is small and intimate - think...More

I went there solo between business events, that included a spectacular dinner that Kismet’s owner and founder, Crystal, served a few nights earlier in a client's home. I dine quite a bit in major US and European cities and I can not think of a...More

Interesting decor, seated quickly, got drinks, and then waited, and waited and waited for our brunch food to come out of kitchen. None of us had anything that should take forever to cook...service at the Spot in Burlington or Sneakers in Winooski is much quicker.

We've been to Kismet twice and both of us, along with the people at the next table, were thrilled by the food. I especially like the friendly wait staff and somewhat Montpelier-funky atmosphere. Relaxing place to eat.

Fun friendly atmosphere with upscale brunch selection. Had the green eggs while my wife had the Benedict burrito. Both were tasty, prepared well, though a bit overpriced. Unlimited coffee refills, though coffee was average. Advisable to get in prior to 10:00 for brunch as it...More

Nice ambience, attentive friendly staff. Food was delicious but little over priced for the amount you receive.

A warm summer evening with a friend and we sat on the deck outside as it grew dark. Tiny lights surrounded us and it was magical. The food great!

Kismet is the best brunch I have ever had. My favorites are the steak and eggs and carpaccio Benedict, but I imagine every menu item is amazing . They also have awesome Bloody Mary's. Go forth and brunch happy!

If you don't live in Montpelier, Kismet is reason enough to plan a road trip! The chic, farm-to-table, community-oriented restaurant is Montpelier's best organic restaurant and offers up an inspired menu featuring fresh, local ingredients and meals crafted with love. Chef/owner Crystal Maderia creates seasonal craft cocktail and dinner menus that are sophisticated, creative, and complimented by her natural wine and artisan beer lists. All dishes are made naturally with local meats, organic produce, and sustainably harvested regional fish and seasonings from the restaurant's very own garden. It doesn't get any fresher than this! A great atmosphere, an inspired and nourishing menu, and a friendly staff make Kismet a local favorite.
