We're foodies and we appreciate good food and good service. The menu was very creative with items we had never seen before. A real effort is out on making sure local ingredients are featured. Service staff made us feel very welcome. Don't miss this gem if you visit Montpelier.

I love to dine at Kismet whenever I visit Montpelier. Created with prime organic natural, the food selections and beverages are extraordinary with tastes that delight the palate. I recently had one of the Sunday Brunch and specials of eggs Benedict with salmon, potato and beet home fries and an elderberry mimosa--simply scrumptious. The proprietor and the staff are very... So we wanted to go somewhere nice, we found Kismet. It could tell instantly that it was going to be great, the place was very nicely put together and all the customers appeared focused on their meal. Our meals came, traditional breakfasts but made and presented in gourmet style. The 'home fries' had some potatoes, but beets and sweet potatoes.... More

Cozy, hip setting with gourmet locavore foods; creative combinations that are visually pleasing and very tasty. Eating here invariably leaves me wanting to come back, always the sign of a special meal for me. sigh- if only I lived in Montpelier !

This is another great restaurant in town. I brought my husband and our son to have dinner. It is a small restaurant but the food is excellent. I have to say the portion is small compared to other restaurants in town. You come out as not feeling overly stuffed which I am glad because I don't eat much.

I have had dinner here several times in the last 2 years. Every time I have been pleased with the meal. All of the dishes have been interesting and delicious. The entry has generally been more than enough food, but I always want to try at least one other dish. The desserts are also interesting and more than enough for... More

We shared the beef carpaccio which was excellent and left us wanting more. I had the braised chicken with rutabaga and carmelized Brussel sprouts. Good Local food. My husband had the pork belly. We opted for no dessert. Its pricey.

We were not rowdy; just two older couples enjoying a meal out together. We had made reservations ahead. We were completing our meal of drinks, appetizers, entrees and desert coffees and had just paid our bill, including a generous tip, just a little over 2 hours after arriving, when the hostess came to our table and requested that we leave.... I had an excellent meal here and thought the quality of the meal was top notch. The food took a while to prepare, but that's to be expected. They took food allergies seriously and i had no problems.

We had a late Sunday morning breakfast. The coffee and Bloody Mary hit the spot while we waited on food. Bloody Mary was made with organic vodka and had the perfect amount of horseradish! They were great about subbing greens for an English muffin so my significant other could have a lower carb Eggs Benedict. I had Portuguese Fish cakes... More

If you don't live in Montpelier, Kismet is reason enough to plan a road trip! The chic, farm-to-table, community-oriented restaurant is Montpelier's first organic restaurant and offers up an inspired menu featuring fresh, local ingredients and meals crafted with love. Chef/owner Crystal Maderia creates seasonal craft cocktail and dinner menus that are sophisticated, creative, and complimented by her natural wine and artisan beer lists. All dishes are made naturally with local meats, organic produce, and sustainably harvested regional fish and seasonings from the restaurant's very own garden. It doesn't get any fresher than this!
