Sausage gravy was ok. Not the best not the worst. I ordered my steak medium and it was served medium rare. Home fries did not come with onions, had to request them at an extra cost. Home fries had no flavor. Price was reasonable.

We were four adults looking for a morning carb loading breakfast. That's all they serve from daybreak until 1:00 pm when they close. Portions are healthy and the coffee is plentiful. I had the 'cow plop', my wife the quesadilla and our friends a 3 egg omlette and belgian waffles with maple syrup. Tummies were properly filled. Servers were friendly... More

Brown Cow is a local diner with yummy breakfast! I have never had lunch, but I am sure it is just as good. The service is always fast & friendly, portions are large, and prices are cheap! I have no complaints about this restaurant. As to be expected, it can get really crowded on weekends. We always visit during our... More

Nice little Mom and Pop type breakfast place. We had the usual breakfast fare, but they had a lust of homemade pies, muffins and cinnamon rolls that looked delicious. Quite close to our motel and an easy walk downtown and to the lake.

Always go there for breakfasts, have never had lunch. Great food, service and decor. Parking can be tight especially on Saturday or Sunday.

This is a breakfast and lunch establishment. It is like the old diners of yesteryear with bar stools at the counter as well as tables. The food was good, the prices were reasonable and the service was fast. What more could you ask? It is a very popular place. They serve breakfast all day until closing.

Popular diner in the "other" Newport. Had a fabulous shrimp chowder there. The blueberry pancakes are fantastic. One pancake is enough--each one fills a whole plate. Good service, nice country-style atmosphere.

We had lunch here.....a burger and a tuna salad sandwich on home made brown bread. The portions were very generous, and the food freshly made. We tried to go back for lunch another day, but the place closes at 1pm! Darn.

We were wanting a cheeseburger so we stopped here and they fortunately had them on the menu. They came out within five minutes of ordering and my wife and I both agreed, pretty good. Our daughter had chicken strips with curly fries, both were pretty good as well. This diner has a great feel to it, reminded me of my... More
