While the food was great, and the service above acceptable, apparently the financial side of The Knotty Shamrock wasn't doing as well. The pub closed with a 2-day notice in Mid-September 2015.

Typical Irish Pub atmosphere. Great tasting food, good prices, friendly service. Felt like a great place to meet up with friends or just sit a the bar and watch a game.
Had a late lunch here and found the service to be friendly and the food to be very good. 6 to 8 beers on tap. They make beer next door, but didn't have any left when we were there.

We were in Vermont last weekend, and stopped by the Knotty Shamrock. The fried cheese curds were amazing. There were good beer choices, and the bartender was super nice. We ordered a ruben and a pulled pork sandwich, which were both great.
