Good, fresh food. Great coffee. Really nice people. Cozy, charismatic environment. Big case full of pastries, sandwiches to order, and a book shop to boot. Outside seating too.

Read a book while you eat. Buy it when you're done. Meals are great as are drinks and pastries. Highly recommended by locals and travelers alike.

The bookstore has a small selection with some interesting titles spread out in several different rooms. The real draw is the coffee, tea, and baked goods. This is a pleasant spot to settle in for a hot drink and a snack and, maybe, to read one of the books that are for sale or perusing. A charming spot with friendly... More

Sandy's is an eclectic coffee shop, bakery and bookstore with WIFI. You'll find locals and tourists stopping in for a quick bite or lingering over coffee and reading or on their computers. Baked goods are superb using locally supplied ingredients and you can make your own coffee or tea. No artificial sweeteners here!!!!

Walls and walls of books -- newer, vintage, interesting titles. Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches in a comfortable setting. Only regret is that we forgot to top of an afternoon by returning for a spiked coffee.

We stopped for a break, had coffee at a table surrounded by books, bought two Vermont books and soaked up the atmosphere. Sandy's is a pretty little building in a picturesque rural community. You could buy Robert Frost and head a few miles to the Frost Trail.

Loved our stop for breakfast. Super nice and friendly folks...funky clutter in an old house filled with wonderful books and art...varied menu. We started to leave noting the crowded nature of leaf-peepers like us seeking food, but a local leaving said, "Stay...its worth the wait!" He was right!

Being a native Vermonter I understand how busy this time of year is in VT but Sandy's kept it together while being totally busy inside. We all had great meals, service with a smile. So many good things to choose from, made it hard but all looked good. Will return again. I would say, give it a try and you... More

One of the better bakery cafes in Vermont and Vermont has many. Awesome cafe with good local coffee and too notch local organic Stratford creamery dairy is hard to beat. This place is the real deal amid an increasingly expensive food economy where many vendors sell "local" but shortcut the quality of their ingredients. Sandy even grows some of her... More
