Excellent food, served efficiently and in a setting to die for! Special for guests from out of town, and when the weather is nice enough to stroll the grounds.

Imagine being a Vanderbilt and building yourself a lake front house and estate. This is a beautifully and lovingly restored home that is also serving as an Inn and restaurant. The food is a little pricey but the ambiance is second to none. A great...More

We were able to have a beautiful breakfast on our last day in Vermont. The view of Lake Champlain and the gardens complement excellent food. One pleasant surprise is that the prices were much lower than one would normally expect in a similar setting. After...More

Gorgeous night with spectacular sunset. Great wines, good service but the food was not good. We ordered the lamb and it was fatty, not much meat on it, and the overall dish had conflicting spices. All of the food which should have been hot was...More

Had dinner for Sunday evening, with a set menu of 2 choices. We were happy with our dinner and the sides were delicious.
