Went here for a Thursday night dinner recently. Enjoyed the warm atmosphere, friendly and open patrons, as well as the live music. The cafe itself is very nicely decorated for a cozy and authentic feel. Highly recommended, especially in contrast to the restaurants closer to killington that can have an unfortunate strip mall like feel. Burger was amazing as well!

very low key, music outside in the summer is a blast. They had a fire-pit going, a stage with great musicians playing. we had the pizza which is homemade using local ingredients which was delicious. its a b.y.o. so we brought our own beverages, met a lot of fun new people.

I went here with one of my girlfriends around Halloween. My girlfriend raves about this place- she lives in Rochester and apparently goes frequently. We had tried to go together a couple times previously, unsuccessfully. It seems the hours are not consistent. I would recommend checking the Facebook page of the business before going because it seems the owner updates... More

Wild Fern is a cozy place with counter stools and more table sun back. Heather the proprietor is a talented baker and all around creative business woman. You can go wrong with the savory thin crusted pizza hot out of the oven. Brunch menu lets Heathers talents really shine with the home made VT style bagels, fresh donuts and egg... More

This small cafe is a one-woman show, and she is quite talented. Her bagels are the best you will ever have and all of her baked goods are quite yummy. Her menu is simple but whatever the special is, guaranteed to be delicious. Sunday brunch is the best you will find with fabulous music. At night pizzas are flying and... More

Heather is one of the best bakers around. The bread, pizza and desserts are fresh and unique, using locally sourced ingredients. On busy Wednesday and Friday nights seating can be challenging since there is usually great live music.

Picked up a pizza to go. People are super nice. Pizza was ready on time, was decent. I would go for it if you are in the area. I will return.

A Vermont friend recommended The Wild Fern while I was visiting, knowing I am into good food and good music. What a gem! I was welcomed by Heather Lynne, proprietress extraordinaire, with a genuine smile and grace. Found a cozy table in the corner, next to a young couple with a toddler. They were chatty and so cute. Enjoyed a... More
