Enjoyed breakfast with our son at this cafe. It was within walking distance from The Green Mountain Inn where we stayed. Tim, the owner, was friendly and quick with our meal. Food was hot and delicious.

Called in for soup and a sandwich. Fab clam chowder and sandwiches, lovely wheat bread. The tuna sandwich was delicious. Great coffee, just the perfect thing we needed!

This is everything you want in breakfast fare. The manager, Tim, remembers you - even if you're only in town every few months. He remembers what you ordered too! All of the people who work there are wonderful. And the breakfasts, bagels and pastries are to die for. Next up...lunch...Real Vermont - where the locals go...

Counter service with some great menu items and all pretty customizable. Thing is, I wouldn't change them because they're all really good! The turkey sandwich itself is a thing of beauty and one I hope to get again. It's not a big space so there aren't many tables and I bet on busy weekend it's tough to find seating but... More

Right in the heart of downtown stowe, this is convenient if you want lunch on the go vs a full sit down service. The prepared salads and soups are very good (in addition to the sandwiches). They carry a loaf of gluten-free bread and have a few gluten-free pastries too. Note that seating is limited though.

Although the atmosphere is like a general store, the food is delicious and the coffee even better. The sandwiches and pastry are home made with care and the Richard Allen coffee is from Rhode Island - and is the best in town. Love it!

Felt like i went back in time to a small dept store style cafe! Sat at bar stools in a storefront window looking at Main street and enjoyed a hot cup of very tasty chicken noodle soup and deliciously moist turkey cranberry mayo sandwich. If you're looking for a hometown, comfortable lunch break, this is it!

We had a nice lunch of soup and sandwiches, plus a giant cookie here. About a dozen sandwich choices, and they were accommodating of substitutions. The dining area is very small, just as an FYI. Order and pay at the counter type operation. We'll be back.
