This is a wonderful place to eat. We went there for breakfast while on vacation in the area. The food was excellent. The service was great, and the staff could not be more accomodating. Enjoyed it and we will be back.

As part of our package we had breakfast here - I don't believe they do any other meals? The breakfast was freshly cooked - eggs made to order and it was good!

We ate there 3 morning while staying at The Golden Eagle. Excellent food, but service on busy mornings was a little slow, especially for coffee refills.

The cafe serves a full-on american breakfast with all the standards, eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, etc. The special was poached eggs (they cooked them exactly as we ordered them) on english muffins with tomatoes, spinach and onions, and a Vermont cheddar cheese sauce. We were uncertain about the sauce and asked for it on the side, but it was really... More

We stayed at this resort for two nights and had two amazing breakfasts. These were included in our room rate and the choice was really good. As a coeliac I was very well catered for and had blueberry hot cakes on one of the mornings which was a real treat for me! The food was well cooked and filling! All... More

We ate here every morning for four mornings. Excellent service using local produce in their meals. Great way to start your day.

I've eaten breakfast at the Golden Eagle Resort many times over the last 25 years, as far back as when the breakfast was served in the lobby (upwards of 150 times in my lifetime). This morning was one of the worst meals I've had at the Colonial Cafe purely in terms of food quality. The Eggs Mansfield I ordered was... More

Average breakfast, diner-style place, décor is a bit dated. Service could have been better, it took quite a while to get any service as there seemed to be some confusion between the waiters as to which table they were responsible for.

Thank Nathalie D
