I love the turkey sandwiches from the Pizza Joint at the Moscow Schoolhouse. My husband usually gets a souvlaki. This is a great stop for picnic or road trip sandwiches. I know it is a Pizza Joint but I have never tried their pizza. I am sure the pizza is amazing as the bread/rolls that they make the turkey sandwich... More

The Texan specialty pizza was by far the best take on the "Mexican pizza" I've ever had. We also ordered a conventional pizza (pepperoni, onions, and peppers) that was very, very good.

If you are looking for a terrific pizza and wings, this is the place to go in Stowe. It's small and out of the way on Barrows Rd but it's worth checking out. They have pan pizzas or normal thin crust and do gluten free as well. Their BBQ wings are drippy good - you'll need a wet cloth but... More

Very friendly, fast service. Had the jambalaya pizza...yummy! Not a lot of room for dine in so be prepared just to take out. Has a little grocery store type feel (because of all of the extra stuff you can purchase off of the shelves and out of the big coolers.)

The owner is great to chat with. He's popular with locals and it's easy to understand why. The pizza is excellent, nice crisy crust with just right amount of toppings. Tomato sauce had pleasant taste of basil. The place is rustic with limited seating so you might end up sharing the space and making some new friends. Come hungry and... More

The Pizza Joint makes the best pizza. They offer both thin and thick crust. Everything is made fresh - they'll build you whatever type of pizza you want and have many items to choose from. They also have a great group of specialty pizzas available. It's worth the trip.

I have eaten (take out) from Pizza Joint many times in the last 10+ years and it is my favorite lunch spot in Stowe! I especially enjoy the variety of soups they offer, chili and gazpaucho - all of them made from scratch using fresh ingredients. I am also a big fan of their pizzas and salads!

2013......Regular ritual for us is to do take out from Jim at The Pizza Joint in Stowe Vt on the Moscow Rd. We ask for the pasta w/ meatballs and sweet sausage baked with a cheese topping. We also get a meatless caesar salid. The pasta comes in a foiled container that can be popped into the oven to stay... More

I've been here many times for lunch and dinner (mostly take-out) and it has never disappointed. My favorite pizza slices of all time have all come from the Pizza Joint. There are other good pizza places in Stowe but for consistent great food and creative Specials I'll always return to "The Joint".
