Chez Henri has been in business at Sugarbush base area for years, and Henri is still a fixture at the establishment. Great bar scene apres ski, and of course the fondue is wonderful and different from the way we make it at home...always a treat.

Chez Henri is a time capsule at Sugarbush. From the 70’s on, it has retained a wonderful apres ski atomosphere with cheese fondue, steak tartare offered up with a wonderful wine list and french bistro feel. DInner is very good, fabulous steak/rites, lamb, chicken and...More

We didn't have a reservation and called. It was a weekday but still busy - they were gracious - we had a great meal and learned the owner's relative lives near us in Virginia

Wonderful French food, soups, pate, classic sandwiches, fondue, etc. served in a cozy space. Try for a table by the fire.

This place kind of felt like I was in someone's basement, but it was different. I liked all the lights. I felt like I could carry on a private conversation, even though the place was small and crowded. The food was good. I had chicken...More

Totally reminds me of every little village bistrot in France. A little worn around the edges, a little kitschy BUT really comfortable and pleasant. Old fashioned food (outstanding fondue and mussels).

Lets face it this place is the personal extension of Heni Borel who was born and raised in Avignon France in a family that ran a restaurant. A big part of going to the restaurant is chatting with Henri. Given a chance he will tell...More

The restaurant is nicely set-up and we had a good mail. Although it wasn’t packed the wait was rather long and the final bill probably a bit high for what you get. I’d probably won’t go back although the place has kind of a nice...More

We decided to go because of the good reviews and the hype. No need to ever go back. We had an older waitress that was not very pleasant. The food is over priced and portions are small. The flavor was lacking. There are much better...More

Mom and I escaped the savages for a date while skiing. The owners were charming and the food - and atmosphere - took us back to living in Europe. Good service, fair pricing.

There is no online menu. This place is very "old school." The menu here is classic french bistro- there is zero concern by the owner or the chef about calories, fat content (I can't even begin to think of how much butter... More
