If you are in Sugarbush or in the area, you must go to this restaurant. The food is great, the personnel is nice and kind and it is a nice and friendly environment. This is honestly one of the better restaurants I have been too and I am sure most will agree with me.

Dining last night for the first time in a while. Chez Henri is iconic here at Sugarbush, and as yummy as ever. Not too many options on a Monday evening, so we were happy to go here. 4 people had 4 different meals, and everything was great. freshly baked bread, one dessert. Twinkling lights, fire in the fireplace, friendly very... More

From atmosphere to the meals served it is always an enjoyable experience. It is what you expect from a French restaurant. Its owners, Henri and Bernard, affable and friendly keep in touch with their customers old and new. No matter whether you sit on one of the front room booths opposite the marble bar or in the main dining room... More

At dinner yesterday the food was great as always. It is French without being suffocatingly so. The restaurant is quite small and intimate and the long time staff is always accommodating and prompt. The owner Henri Borel is always on site and personally interacts with all the guests. Don't miss it if you have a chance at Sugarbush.

We have been dining at Chez Henri since 1984. The food is wonderful and exquisite. Seeing Henri and Bernard are like seeing old friends. It feels like a wonderful reunion everytime. I wish this restaurant wasn't 350 miles from me. Yet, we will always return, as much for the food and ambiance, as for the company and location. I would... More

Not pretentious just delicious! Everyone left happy after a cozy dinner in this cute cafe. Not a family dinner place, which suited us fine.

This charming cozy French bistro is plunked down (level with a roaring brook) in Sugarbush Village. Our family goes to Chez Henri at least once every ski trip. With a real command of traditional French cuisine, the kitchen succeeds each and every visit. Steak tartare? Oui, just like Paris. Escargot? Oui. Cheese foundue? Oui. Real wood fire, tall candles, white... More

Quite cozy, comfy and french. Many servers speak French. The menu is very french. The bread was some of the best I have ever tasted. Super crusty on the outside and just the right bit of chew on the inside. They keep the bread on this open hearth fireplace towards the back the restaurant and cut as needed. The place... More
