best breakfast in town but could keep the doors open - the red flannel hash and the cheese biscuit sammy were divine!

We stumbled on this wonderful find in one of the guidebooks and thought we would give it a shot. We also loved the idea that it was run by a local church...we are not religious, but it was not to think our proceeds would help out someone in some way. So being a church run cafe, how good could it... More

We've been waiting our breakfast for about 1 ½ hour. We needed to order 2 times because they didn't get it the 1st time. The coofee machine was broken so we waited 45 minutes for ou house coffee. The food was awefull. We'll never come back for sure.

Service was incredibly slow and it's clear the staff lack any kind of formal training in table management. We were a group of 5 who had a group of 5 come in behind us. They got seated after us yet their order was taken and served well before ours. After a 45 min wait for our food one of the... More

Stopped by with my wife on the way to Montreal (from CT). Very Vermont,,,Homey feel with good service and very good food and coffee! Had their big breakfast and can hardly finish it (it was so big!) Prices are a little on the high side but fair based on what you were served. Extra kudos for mailing back my baseball... More

Lots of homemade options, fresh local ingredients, casual, clean and comfortable dining. Friendly service ~ that it exists to benefit a wonderful mission in Kenya is the icing on the cake.

We usually go to this place once a year, while doing a foliage tour. The food is always very good, as well as the service. The concept of "meals with a mission" is very specific to Vermont and speaks for itself. This year, we were a little bit disappointed as they usually serve a breakfast buffet on Sundays and it... We stopped by chance on our way from Bar Harbor to Burlington the "back way". The parking lot was full, always a good sign and it proved to be true once again. The two of us sat at the counter because the tables were full. Brenda, the owner served us. All the food is made from scratch and the desserts... More

The food here is always of the best quality and delicious! The people who run the restaurant are very friendly and knowing that they are serving "meals with a mission" makes me feel even better about eating out! It is a great place to dine with a relaxing atmosphere. They do not try to hurry people out, which makes it... More
