Just across the parking lot from the fabulous Vermont Country Store you will be glad you came to lunch here. Many old New England favorites like Shepherd's Pie and wonderful soups from locally-sourced vegetables and meat. Don't miss it but book it as they are usually busy.

We live in Southern California which has some of the finest restaurants in the nation. This afternoon we we were driving through Weston, VT and stopped at the Bryant house for lunch which is next to the Vermont Country store. The lunch was better than any brunch we ever had in California. I highly recommend you take the time to... More

We found this place when looking into the Vermont Country Store in Weston. If you go to the store, your best bet is to have lunch at the Bryant House and then check the store out. They stay busy, so go early. Their ham and cheddar sandwich is wonderful.

After spending the morning at the crowded Vermont Country Store, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately in the Bryant House Restaurant, which is next to the Vermont Country Store and is owned by the Vermont Country Store folks. I'd been hungry for chicken pot pie, and glory hallelujah, it was on the lunch menu that Sunday- full of... More

Very nice restaurant that emphasizes on flavors of Vermont. Had the butternut squash soup sweetened with Vermont Maple Syrup and grilled cheese made with Vermont cheddar. Delicious!

Hadn't been here in several years, but have always enjoyed the food and service when I have come. On this pleasant leaf-peeping Monday, girlfriends and I were not disappointed! My Chef's Salad had homemade turkey and ham with crisp greens and a mini-johnnycake as accompaniment. Old fashioned and cozy and perfect way to top off a visit to the Vermont... More

This establishment had an outstanding menu and a real country setting. It almost feels like you are eating at a country farm. The food is great and service is the best. Make sure to make a reservation as it fills up fast.

Connected to the Vermont Country Store, this place can get very busy on weekends or peak season where busloads of tourists have few dining options. If you want to bypass the crowds, see if there is a seat available at the bar. The décor is as quaint as they come and the food quality is very good, assuming you ever... More

The food is excellent. Service is excellent. Location is very good, It's old and rustic. The bar itself is a conversation piece. A must go place.
