The fried chicken was one of the best I have ever eaten and I've tried many. The bbq sandwich that my husband had was very good. The sides, greens and soup beans were perfect and it went well with the corn bread. Everyone was friendly and it is a real family restaurant. We had a great chat with the owners... More

One of the lesser known establishments along state street, Eatz brings a down home cooked meal to the forefront of our pallets. Be sure to give this one a try next time you're in town.

Eatz is a great, locally owned spot for Southern comfort food. Barbecue, fried catfish, fried chicken, beans & greens... you can't go wrong here. And save room for the amazing desserts. And everything is delivered with a smile. One of my favorites in Bristol.

We went here for lunch after visiting the Birthplace of Country Music museum (which was excellent!) The Memphis-style BBQ was delicious, as was the cornbread, coleslaw and baked beans. Service was friendly and quick. Vibe was low-key and friendly. Definitely recommend!

I just can't get enough of the fried chicken, the fried catfish, the wonderful, crumbly cornbread, the collard greens, the meatloaf, you just really, really can't go wrong here! A longtime favorite just a few steps off of State Street, lately made famous by that darn Gecko! Do stop in for lunch, or order takeout. It's great either way!

Was looking for a different place for dinner. Decided to try Eats, and boy am I glad we did. Excellent fried chicken, mac and cheese and a different take on barbecue beans. My wife had the catfish, potatoes and coleslaw, and said it was excellent. Will definitely be a return customer.

I am incredibly pleased we decided to get off the interstate to eat at Eatz! I had the fried chicken, sweet potato, and collard greens. My wife chose the catfish, baked macaroni and cheese, and barbecue beans....both came with cornbread. The fried chicken and fried catfish were fantastic. My wife said I had to try some of the beans because... More

We were in Bristol to visit the Birthplace of Country Music Museum (great place) and the locals kept recommending Eatz. It was busy, but cozy and the food is delicious. We both had fried catfish and the servings were generous. Don't miss the banana pudding. Wished one of us had ordered the fried chicken when we saw it.

Such a great family run and operated cafe. Small and intentionally so. They strive to make you feel like they are cooking for you and only you. I have tried various menu items but always return to the catfish and collard greens and cornbread. When something is that good you do not mess with it. The brown beans ,ribs and... More

Had a fantastic meal at Eatz before visiting the Birthplace of Country Music Museum down the street. The four of us had fried chicken, catfish, meatloaf, cornbread, collards, mac and cheese, and green beans. All great. The owner came out and talked to us for a while and made us feel welcome. Eating lunch here made our day trip to... More
