This place looks like a greasy spoon but it is anything but. Everything is made from scratch and with a little bit of love. We stopped by here twice in 3 days for lunch. I had the ham melt and the mac and cheese the...More

This place was a lovely little stop. My husband and I were traveling for Christmas and needed a place for dinner. This place deserves every good review it has received. The menu was way more extensive than I expected and everything we ordered was very...More

The restaurant was recommended by friends so I decided to try this place out on my birthday and anniversary. I was surprised at the variety of food on the menu. We started with the Crab Dip that was awesome! Lots of flavors. I could have...More

I eat here frequently. This is my favorite restaurant anywhere around here - my parents were regulars as well. The atmosphere is casual with a gorgeous view of the mountains. I have tried many items on the menu and every single one has been delicious!...More

This is a family favorite place of ours as we are locals. We have always loved the hand crafted and interesting burger choices. I hadn't been back since trying a low carb diet and was pleasantly surprised how easy and satisfying it was! My burger...More

This place is easy to drive by and not take a second look, however, we love to eat where the locals go. Don't expect much inside, upgraded diner, clean and cozy. If you are lucky to get a window view the scenery is gorgeous. The...More

This casual restaurant seems to be frequented by the locals. Jeans and hiking shoes were appropriate dress. The food was wonderful. I had their crab cakes and my husband had their Southern fried chicken. Both were very good but I would give the edge to...More

Nothing fancy about this place, a few booths, and several tables. Just a nice little country place. But the food is fresh-made on the premises by great cooks. Try the chili: to die for. Service was good, noise level is good (although it wasn't crowded...More

My wife were recommended this restaurant for dinner during our stay in Natural Bridge. I was kind of expecting a more fancier restaurant, but looks more like a diner. Parking is somewhat limited. There is a small bar inside the restaurant. The staff was very...More

From the outside, it doesn't appear to be very big, but it is a pretty decent size inside!. Food was great and not too expensive. Customer service was fabulous too. Husband had a build your own burger. I had the chicken salad and mac and...More

Description
From humble beginnings as an outdoor-only cafe in the small town of Buena Vista, Virginia, Brian and Nina have always been at the heart of this special restaurant. Through blood, sweat, tears - and the sacrifice of having no social life - Brian and Nina have built FotM Cafe into what you see today. "We are truly blessed", says Brian, "when you work hard and do things the right way, you will be blessed". They met working in the kitchen at a previous job and fell in love. Both dreamed of their own place with amazing food and great service at a reasonable price. Having a combined 21 years of restaurant industry experience at the time, they found an opportunity and jumped on it. Brian combined his knowledge of the industry with some of his mother's favorite dishes - with his own twist - to open the first FotM Cafe location on July 31st, 2015. With Nina working as front of house and Brian manning the kitchen they quickly became a community favorite.
