6 for lunch 2 hours before kickoff. Very good lunch, and good service. Lot of menu choices, and good beer selection. On the corner with easy 15 min walk to stadium.

Over the years this grill has gone from a go to place to don't go as management has changed. Seems like it is an ok spot again, offering a selection of the standard grill fare. Sandwiches are $8 to $10 typically; a bit more of a beer place once it gets warmer. Staff is ok.

This was one of my favorite spots as a student and 20 years later, it still offers the same quality, ambiance & college charm. A definite must-visit when you're in C'ville.

OK food. We went for lunch. This seems like basically a bar that happens to serve food during the day. We sat outside on the patio, inside there was a strong smell of stale beer. I think it says a lots that on Sunday, we were one of only three tables at the place, whereas the restuarant across the street... More

I've eaten at the Biltmore on almost every visit to Charlottesville over the past 20+years. The patio is great - a very nice place to kill some time, hang out and chat with friends over a beer and some food, etc. The service and food are fine, and the prices are reasonable. But I would avoid eating indoors. The stale... More

This is the third time I've visited the Biltmore. The patio is the attraction. It is large, partly covered by a massive series of vines and partly open air with activities going on. The ambiance is wonderful. And they allow dogs!

First of all, I'm not sure that the two stars reflects this restaurant overall, but reflects the management and the way that I was treated which managed to ruin my experience here. My husband and I were excited to stop in Charlottesville to visit a friend who had just relocated to the area. After a long drive, I went straight... More

Located on the UVA campus, neat place to eat inside, or out. Neat atmosphere, especially on a game day. Food and service was fine.

Biltmore has a lot going for it, but not on Sundays on a football weekend. Location is within easy walking distance of the heart of the UVA campus and there is an extensive outdoor setting under the vine-covered arbor. Restaurant was staffed by a skeleton crew; menu offered some interesting options but not extensive choice (mostly salads and sandwiches), only... More
