This is one of the premium restaurants located in Charlottesville. I enjoy coming back to this place often.

We had a nice evening at the Ivy. Food was very good. Good wine list. Desserts delicious. A little loud in the dining room we were in.

I had the lobster bisque soup and salmon for dinner. Both were excellent! It was a very nice experience and low key with attentive waiters. White table cloths and great ambiance.

Great food, great service, lovely setting. A friend always uses this place for her big family dinners and I tag along very happily. I go on my own steam too. Southern food with a contemporary twist. The chef won some kind of James Beard award....More

We have dined at the Ivy Inn several times and found it consistently be one of, if not the best, restaurants in Charlottesville. All of our menu selections have been very good and the ambiance of the older house is charming yet elegant and comfortable....More

This restaurant never disappoints. Very solid and high quality food. Unfortunately, only American wine, but still a good selection. You can’t take a walk after the dinner - the restaurant is in a middle of nowhere.

This is our favorite Charlottesville restaurant! Had a birthday celebration here tonight. Unfortunately I am on a new strict heart healthy diet but the chef made it work. He made substitutions of ingredients and methods of preparation. He even sent out a more heart healthy...More

We celebrated our anniversary. Our menu had Happy Anniversary on the top and they gave us the best table in the House. Lamb was great...topped off by homemade mint jelly. My husband’s fillet was equally good. Squash soup blended ginger and curry. Good taste. Dessert...More

This is a wonderful date/friends night out/business meeting location. They have turned this old house into a very nice restaurant where the rooms are the dining areas. They are intimate but you have enough room to spread out and talk. Food and service are very...More

Excellent service, WONDERFUL food, quaint, laid back atmosphere. As we walked out, everyone said “I would definitely go back here!” And the sticky toffee pudding for dessert - an added bonus!

They change the menu frequently. I believe they do have gluten free food but I would advise you to call ahead and check with them.

We found the hostess to be very pleasant and seated us for our reservation promptly. Also could be poor grammar. They may be intending to offer an option to you rather than make a request of you.

Yes, there is on-site parking. I wouldn't think reservations necessary but wouldn't hurt. Wonderful food and staff.
