We came here specifically because of reviews on Yelp. It appears as your average strip mall Chinese take out restaurant but looks are deceiving. It is a nicely appointed restaurant and they do have take out. I asked a person leaving what would she recommend and she said "Crispy Fried Beef" but everything is womderful. Their speciality is the "Hot... More

This place is a hidden gem! The best authentic Chinese food I have ever had inside of the states. not thick with gravy,... not smothered in sauce. Just spiced well and delicious! Can't argue with the reasonable prices of the dishes, either. Service was really good.

I really enjoy this restaurant, the service is super friendly, the interiors very inviting and the food (especially the fresh dumplings) is mouthwatering.

Visited here for the first time for lunch. Ordered the daily special Szechuan beef. It was just the right amount of spice. Wasn't too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Will definitely be back!

One of our favorite Chinese restaurants recently closed (did not renew its lease) so my husband and I have been on a search for our new "go-to." A friend recommended 100 Degree Hot so we decided to give it a go on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn't at capacity but we recognized quickly that the take-out business was hopping.... More

100 Degree Hot is ok and I will try again but I thought the Kung Po Shrimp was too bready and the pancakes for the Mou Shou Pork (sp?) was uneatable. There is an American menu and non-American menu and I think I will try the non-American menu next time

Ordered dinner while at a nearby hotel and was thoroughly pleased with an ample portion of scrumptious food. Piping hot and perfectly spicy, I took a gamble on the eggplant and was so glad I did. There was easily enough food for two, so I was glad to have it for tomorrows lunch. We also had Kung Pao Chicken which... More

I love Chinese food, but I thought I lived in a Chinese food wasteland here in NoVa. That is, until I stumbled on 100 Degree Hot. If you're not a fan of spicy food, don't be put off by the restaurant's name. I don't like hot stuff either. The chefs at 100 Degree Hot will make food as hot or... More

We had reservations so we're surprised that the restaurant was not prepared for our party of six. Another group was living and told us that dinner would take 2 hours. That was an underestimate. Food finally arrived nearly 1 1/2 hours after we arrived and that one dish, shrimp and broccoli, had overlooked shrimp. When the rest of the food... More

The menu was extensive. Most of the customers were Chinese which I took as a good sign. I had shrimp with vegetables. It was not as good as the same dish at home in Tucson. My companion ordered a shrimp hot pot and got salt and pepper shrimp. Our server struggled with the English language, although the dish was pointed out... More
