We ate here thinking there was not much Front Royal had to offer, and were we Pleasantly Surprised! An innovative menu that offered a range of dishes and styles. The quail was not your standard preparation and done quite well, my wife had scallops and although prefers them very well done despite chef's wishes they came out just as she... More

This was our first and long overdue visit. It just recently relocated and was closed for weeks of renovation. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by a very cheerful hostess who sat us immediately. Our waiter arrived promptly and took our order. He also was very attentive throughout the meal. The food quality was the best we've found in Front... More

Dined for the first time tonight and I can't wait to go back. Pleasant thoughtful service by Brandon (his dessert recommendation was over the top, Pavlova with caramelized bacon) Entrees were cooked and seasoned to perfection, we shared Scallops and Quail. The restaurant was clean, well lit, the music was fun. Much more than I expected in Front Royal but... More

We went to the Element for dinner last week for our anniversary. The atmosphere was great and the way it was decorated was very welcoming. We were a bit disappointed that the dinner menu only had about 6 or 7 entrees on it and they were a bit pricey. We each ordered the corn chowder as an appetizer. Our total... More

Everything was delicious, especially tomato crab soup and desserts! Beware, buffalo wings are really spicy. Service was great.

We had one night in Front Royal and went to the Element for dinner. It has recently been renovated. The food was very good and we would recommend it if visiting Front Royal.

We ate at element twice about 6 years ago, and it was delicious, so we were excited for their new larger location on Main Street. But we were very disappointed. I mean, how can you ruin a Caesar salad? Old tired romaine with too much (tasteless) dressing. Service was so-so. One of our party had the quail and liked it,... More

The new location on Main Street is beautiful and well decorated. Lovely, Background sounds were not loud and conversation was possible. Bathrooms were clean. Our party of 5 each ordered differently from the lunch menu. The chowder seemed to be the hit of of the served dishes. The other dishes were great disappointments. I selected fish & chips - the... The coconut encrusted snapper was awesome. The waitress was a bit rough around the edges but the food made up for her lack of attention.

The endless creativity of Chef-Owners David and Stacy Gedney has produced an excellent bistro alternative to the commitment of fine dining restaurants and to the ennui of the countless chain restaurants. Element offers a variety of sapid dishes for lunch and dinner in a relaxed and modern atmosphere, augmented by a full bar, beers on draft and an elegant wine list. We adjust the menu regularly to keep our ingredients fresh and our choices interesting.
