The restaurant is in an old building with great ambiance. We were greeted cheerfully, given a good table, and received good service throughout our long lunch. The food was tasty and the portions reasonable.

Awesome Appetizers, very reasonable prices for food and mixed drinks. Great portion sizes on the appetizers, big enough to share. Wide variety of craft beers. Best part of night, the place is an antique Bank - beautiful interior to explore and admire. Summer time even...More

Upon entry I inquired whether the restaurant was named after Gordon or ‘Lightfoot’ Henry Lee. I was informed that it was the Revolutionary War General who fathered Robert E Lee (who generously donated his home for the Arlington National Cemetery following the Civil War. Despite...More

Leesburg is a wonderful town with small town feel and friendly, wonderful people. We stayed at the Colonial Inn and walked a very short distance to Lightfoot restaurant. Cozy, Warm ambience. Great food.

I keep trying Lightfoot thinking I just hit a bad day, but this is consistent. Way better food in Leesburg to risk the overpriced weirdness that is Lightfoot. They have a chip on their shoulder about it when you send food back for being incorrectly...More

We went there for a lunch. I would say very typical comfi old restaurant!!! Good atmosphere. Food was good enough, but nothing extraordinary. Consistent. If you want to have decent time go there.

Friends and I have been there twice for happy hour. Prices were good. Happy hour food unique and good. We found the bartender Tim to be a bit surly and pompous He said all the right things but acted like we were a bother.

The old bank that houses the Lightfoot is amazing, not only a great lunch but fun to see the architectural features of this lovely old building. Most lunch items are in the range of $12 to $20 some dollars. I had an excellent pasta dish...More

They have some banquet facilities. My GUESS would be that they could handle 100 for a buffet, butt could only handle sit-down if you took over the whole restaurant and had a limited menu. It's certainly worth a call. There... More

Smart casual, business casual, should be fine. I think there were some diners in blue jeans, but for dinner I suggest you dress up a notch. A summertime lunch, conversely, is pretty casual.
