I waited 5 minutes, then I got seated and waited 5 minutes for my food to come out, I had the shrimp and grits that tasted very creamy, the salad with the thousand island dressing tasted very good because the dressing was very mixed together. The Key Lime was very delicious since it was very creamy, soft and very well... More

We had stopped next door to Blue Marlin to pick up some fish and decided to try them. We were not disappointed. I had one of the three specials for the day, a crab cake sandwich. It was nicely prepared lots of crab very little bread filler. My partner had the fried shrimp. They were delicious and fried perfectly. He... More

We go to the Dahlia whenever we can for special occasions in Lynchburg. The former dive retains its interesting and simple decor. The food is top notch. Upstairs, the decor is modern and small, but the cellar retains it's older self with larger tables and a 40 foot bar where you can eat or imbibe. If you want try something... More

We took our new daughter in law visiting from Idaho and my niece visiting from Florida for lunch and ordered shrimp and grits. Everyone agreed it was delicious! The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly and the grits were creamy and cheesy. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves good seafood.

It's hectic with just one server there but she pulls it off. Some meals are pricey but food is good.I recommend the pulled pork and the Brunswick stew is great.

We always go to the Dahlia when we are in Lynchburg. The former dive retains its interesting and simple decor. The food is first rate. We had fresh oysters on the half shell that were scrumptious! Then we had a fresh market salad with finely made dressings. For a main course we had the scallops. A generous serving, cooked to... More

I love that fact that they have a so many seafood specials on a regular basis. The food is fabulous and the service is friendly. Hands down the best place in Lynchburg.

My husband and I have had consistently great experiences at the Dahlia. The food is quick, hot, high quality, and inexpensive. We love the servers and the atmosphere in general. Our only complaint is that the menu doesn't change, so it's hard to frequent this restaurant without becoming bored.

I have been travelling to Lynchburg since 2007. I have had the pleasure visiting a couple of foodies while on business there. For some unknown reason, this restaurant was one we never had a chance to eat at. It is only a few years old. I was not looking for a place to eat when I ended up there. I was... More
