Finally, my husband and I were in the car at the right time together to stop in here, and thankfully, we were both very hungry. We waited some minutes before we were seated, watching waitresses zipping around us. We were finally seated upstairs in a...More

Our local favorite for a special occasion. Come hungry because the portions are enormous and the food is hearty. We Love most every entree on the menu and the side dishes too. Glazed carrots and the spatzle are personal favorites. But the absolute best thing...More

Cool place, authentic theme. We had a chicken dish and the jeger schnitzel. Both very good! Quick service. Good carrot cake.

Not a lot to say, but we left feeling neither impressed by the food or feeling it was worth the price.

Food was good but place is crowded with furniture and stuff. Most reviews and people I have talked to LOVE this place. I felt it was decent but not to the level of praise I have heard about it. As an aside I am German...More

We were celebrating two July birthdays with dinner at The Bavarian Chef. We each enjoyed Schintzle which was accompanied with sides. The Red Cabbage, Creamed Corn, Carrots and whipped potatoes was enough for the four of us to share. Good wine selections and the beer...More

My husband and I shared an entrée when we were there 2 weeks ago. Even then, the entrée portion was quite generous, probably 8 ounces or more of meat per person. I asked if there was a shared plate charge and expected one... More
