We were celebrating two July birthdays with dinner at The Bavarian Chef. We each enjoyed Schintzle which was accompanied with sides. The Red Cabbage, Creamed Corn, Carrots and whipped potatoes was enough for the four of us to share. Good wine selections and the beer...More

DISCLAIMER, I am not an expert on German food, BUT the food my Wife and I had at the Chef was the best restaurant experience we have ever had to date. The service was just perfect for us, the server was very polite and attentive...More

Neighbors got together for a restaurant week dinner. Twelve is a fairly large table, especially during restaurant week. We were seated upstairs on one large picnic style table. The back of the table had a rather slanted roof line. Ok for shorter people. The bench...More

I tried to do lunch here on a Friday and didn't look at the hours. Lunch is only on weekends. The building was so cute I just had to return for dinner. To say I was blown away is an understatement. Baltimore just doesn't possess...More

They did an excellent Bandy Alexander. The food was well prepared and presented. The red cabbage was fantastic. The portions were large enough that my husband and I both took home about half of what was on our plates.

We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening. The food was amazing! The portions are humongous! Make sure to get a box and save room for dessert. The Black Forest cake and apple strudel are delicious. I have never had sausage that tasted...More

We ate here on the recommendation of our B&B owner- great chioce. The German food and beer was spectacular. The waiter (Tom) was well informed, humorous and very helpful. We took home at least half of our meal because the portions were so large.

The restaurant is cute but sad that it could not have incorporated a mountain view to be more Bavarian. The food is delicious with huge portions even though a bit high priced. The vegetables are delicious but wish they could use warmers to keep them...More
