I love their mac and cheese! Good home cooking....beat the normal burger and fries joint from fast food.

I have been a fan of Satterwhite's for the 25+ years I have lived in the Richmond area. It is the breakfast and lunch haunt of all the locals. You'll see families with kids, the horsey set in their riding pants and boots, and businesspeople. The atmosphere is always neighborly-upbeat. There isn't anything fancy about the food, at all... just... More

Small, out of the way place...Staff was very friendly. Got a cup of coffee and the sausage gravy over 2 split biscuits. Coffee was kinda weak but ok..it was freshly made. Food came quickly and looked tasty. The sausage gravy was ok...not great. Good consistency but not really alot of flavor. Biscuits were smallish and a bit too dry for... More

Great place for breakfast. Looks like a grassy spoon type restaurant, but don't let that fool you. The food is good. Try the Big breakfast, it even fills me up.

This is the place to go for a good old fashioned breakfast. It's popular with the locals and you'll soon see why. Be sure to go hungry (or take the rest home) .Try the pancakes or The big breakfast. Yummy! Sweet tea will get your day started off right. Lunch is also served but they're closed for dinner.

We eat breakfast here several times per month. The food is always good, the waitstaff is friendly and efficient and the feel is a neighborhood gathering place. The talk is generally a little loud and the radio music mostly C&W but we love it!

I had been driving by this place for years and always saw a lot of cars in the parking lot. We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and waited about 15 minutes for a table for 3. It was definitely worth the wait! The biscuits with sausage gravy were excellent as well as the corn beef hash. The... More

We stopped in for breakfast Saturday morning around 7:30 and had no problem getting a seat. The restaurant is old but is in good condition and is very clean. My wife ordered French toast and it was just plain white bread and not a specialty bread like sourdough, etc. I ordered a western omelette with biscuits which was very good... More

Excellent food at good prices. Quick service (leave a good tip). Breakfast all day. If you come after Church on Sunday you may have to wait.

Thank Jimmie B
