Been here couple of times for Sunday brunches and was never disappointed. Menu changes I think seasonally. So, it's always great to go back. Love the setting, and walking around their property after a good brunch. For days like Mother's Day they have special menu and you need to reserve your table months in advance.

Excellent restaurant in a very quiet setting. A hidden treasure. Whether you eat breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything is cooked to perfection just for you. Took a day trip to one of the local wineries and requested a picnic lunch from Goodstone to carry with us. The sandwiches were delicious on freshly baked bread, along with fresh fruit and homemade... We are a young couple in our 30s that has traveled the world for fine dining and never have we felt so out of place. Immediately upon arriving the manager looked me up and down with disapproval (and even my husband noticed) even though there is no dress code listed and I wore a simple but high end J.Crew cocktail... My husband and I visited the Goodstone for Brunch on a Sunday. We walked the grounds and were disappointed in how poorly maintained they were. The inside reception bar area was also poorly maintained. The first thing I noticed was about five old beverage glasses with straws etc. on the various desks. The floors were grimy and there were amazon... More

Went for a birthday celebration the day before Easter and they had a very limited menu of which I did not care for any of the three entrees. So I picked based on the sides but the sides were all mixed in with the sauce on the protein so couldn't taste them. They didn't let my husband know of the... More

If you're looking for truffle popcorn, this isn't the place, but if you want eggs that were laid in the morning and greens that were just cut from the garden presented in a simple and elegant way, then this is the place. Wonderful flavors, nothing overdone, good portion sizes (not too big, not too small). Fresh baked breads are delicious

While staying at the Goodstone Inn we had two breakfasts and two dinners in this restaurant. The service, food, and wine was very good. The breakfast menu provided multiple choices with fresh farm eggs, breads, potatoes, and fresh juices. Dinner menu provided starters, soup, salad, entries and of course desert. I fell in love with the beet salad which I... More

We had two fine meals in this restaurant during a recent stay at the Goodstone Inn. The first was an excellent, innovative four course prix fixe menu and the second a la carte. The food is fresh with a limited but creatively designed menu focused on fresh local ingredients. The service was attentive and wine list relatively comprehensive with a... More

Goodstone Inn is at a very isolated location via narrow winding roads. You would not want to leave it after dinner. It has several cottages for lodging. We only visited the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. We had the Chef's surprise, a four course meal based on the Chef's selections. Unfortunately our waiter couldn't even tell us what the... Great food was well worth it. Restaurant is small and cozy. However their sommelier was somewhat manipulative in his pushing one of their wines. Beautiful restaurant in very private location...will return for a special occasion!
