Our group of 16 had 6:00 reservations in a separate room and everything went wrong for 2 1/4 hours. Drink orders were only partially taken, simple foods like salads came out last and with no dressing. Waters and wines had to be requested repeatedly and...More

Hi Elizabeth, thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback. I apologize that your experience with us was less than exceptional. This is not the kind of service that we want our customers to receive. I will take this to the General...More

I loved their Fredericksburg location. So was looking forward to this one while in town. Strip mall location. Strip mall feel. Same great beer selections so that's good. Same menu. Stuffed pretzel sandwich. Yay!... and that's where it ends. We were seated outside which was...More

Overall a good experience. The food was good and fairly reasonably priced for the type of restaurant. The beer selection was amazing, but a bit overpriced. Overall, a good experience.

My wife and I each had one of their Oktoberfest special meals, the fish and the beef. Each had two pieces so we shared. The beef roll was larger than the salmon, but we liked the fish better. Our server recommended a dark beer that...More

Our waitress was friendly and helpful when deciding what brand of beer would suit my husband. I enjoyed the Spring Mule that she said was one of her favorites. Spinach crab dip was the best in our area with excellent bread. My husband really enjoyed...More

Here's the positive - the server was very nice, attentive and friendly. However, I can't get past the disgusting sticky floor (it's every visit - is it dirty or is it just defective?) and the flies. I have tried over and over again to eat...More

Service is bad. Servers seem lost amd confused. Burgers used to be the best but now are little over cooked hockey pucks. Too bad. Usednto be a great place to visit.

We used to go to Capital Ale regularly- loved their hamburgers and fries, as well as their beer. Decided to try Monday, burger night, to try out their new organic beef. What a disappointment- tasted and looked like hockey pucks- so dry! Won't be back....

Capitol Ale has an extensive beer list, really good food (although the menu has been changing and some of Waldo's favorites didn't make the cut) served in a casual environment. Some of the locations (midlothian & Harrisonburg ) have great outdoor seating areas with fireplaces....More
