Made inside of the gates to Ahilya Fort, this hotel is a quaint one where all rooms are unique and have their own style. Come to this place and relax for as long as you want. Live the countryside life. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to escape the city life.

Live in an old world. Classic! Tastefully done. Great food. There are rooms also available to stay. One must stay here. Next to Ahilya fort entry. Very close to ghats.

Seriously, whats the fuss about this place? They serve chai and samosa. In a garden with mosquitoes. Nothing else. Their attitude was even worse. May be that's how they treat Indians.

There are a few great rooms at this cafe, with good bathrooms, excellent showers, comfortable beds. It IS inside the fort and the ghats, the fortress and the ghat with the Shiva statues, the rental boats for the sunset cruises are all within walking distance. The staff is delightful, helpful and unintrusive. A real find in MP. DO stay here,... More

Just outside the Maheswar's Ahilya Fort, this age old structure gives that old world charm, Just sit around and have your hot tea or coffee listening to birds symphony as well as occasional noise from outside :)

My son and I stayed in the Bee Eater room on top of the Gatehouse for six nights as part of a retreat. We had many meals at the Cafe and tried most everything on the menu. The chai is delicious and the lassis were my favorite! The peanut chat and poha are so yummy and great mixed together. The... More

Considering the fact, that there are hardly other restaurants in Maheswar, Laboos Cafe comes across as a good cafe. The food was definitely good for a small town like Maheshwar. Please don't go with "Big-City" expectations. The staff is courteous and friendly.

This place has a really pretty architecture. It benefits from the original ancient walls (as seen at the introductory picture here). There is also a hotel which belongs to this cafe (and where we stayed a few nights). The place is really pretty. We had muesli at breakfast with fruits (but i believe the place makes traditional breakfast rather than... More

The name Laboos attracted us and as we stepped in we were surprised to see the nice alfresco sitting arrangement. Adjoining the fort wall, the tall trees and the casual sitting make it a nice place to spend some time. We had snacks and tea here and overall the items we had here were quite tasty. Tried to find out... More
