We have been eating here for twenty years and recently came back again after a long absence. The food is as good as ever. I had to laugh that the waitress still tells you that the chicken and almonds takes 45 minutes to prepare. The waitress doesn't seem to like her job and is not at all friendly. A pity... More

Had lunch here with some friends. Entrees and mains were good, hearty, alsatian meals. I had kidneys which were delicious. It's so hard to get specialties like this anymore, but I always put it on my list.... We also had the salmon which really was great (fresh, tender and well cooked) - although we would not have served it with... More

Serving mostly traditional French meals, this is a good place for a dinner, if you're staying not far from it. Please try to book in advance, as it gets busy in the evenings. Also note, the waiters don't speak English :)

Having had this restaurant recommended to me by a colleague whilst on a work trip to Wissembourg, my boss and I went towards the end of our stay. I had a rabbit dish with spatzle which was excellent, followed by a creme brulee which was equally good. Highly recommended, the best place I ate in my week in Wissembourg

Today I had my worst meal at Au Petit Dominicain and it was still so superior to any other meal in the past 6 months. This quaint little restaurant has incredible food. I had a special - duck breast salad with blue cheese and walnuts. It was very tasty. The only thing I could complain about is the duck was... More

We ate here last month. We seated ourselves to a table on the pavement. The waiting staff a mature lady took our order, we tried to make conversation with her , she was not interested. We ate our meal and left, nothing much to say.

Went here at random and had an amazing dinner. Had a bit of trouble with language barrier, but that was no ones fault but my own. Staff was incredibly friendly and did their best to accommodate our poor language skills. If I lived anywhere near here I would be a regular. The lentils with the oxtail terrine were possibly the... We live about 60 miles from this restaurant and we find ourselves going here rather than local places. The food is outstanding and the wine choices are wonderful. I especially love the herb and garlic crusted lamb chops that are the best lamb chops I have tasted in my life. The muscles are delicious (the best within 200 miles that... More

We ate at Petit Dominicain in a group of 8 people (4 kids). Everything was great. The local food is very tasty, good portions, simply delicious. The attention from the staff was simple but very nice.
