The restaurant was empty. We have chosen the most expensive set menu. My starter portion was small but tasty & my partners decent & tasty. My main course was again small & just lukewarm. Sent it back & they put in microwave & brought it back, same as before. Sent it back again, & again microwaved to hotter temperature. My... More

We really enjoyed our food here. We took the more expensive menu and were really happy with all three courses. I would recommend this place, but go late if on a hot summer evening to watch the sunset and avoid the scorching heat.

Surprised at how good the food was at Les Augustins. The view is to die for too. Great wine list with local Sancerres at the top of the list. Worth a meal especially if you are staying at the Panoramic Hotel next door.

If you want to watch the sun set whilst having an aperitif, this is the place. We dined here and the meal from start to finish was excellent, the presentation was more like a top restaurant in Paris but without the price tag. Top marks to this place, if I had known about it earlier in my stay I would... More

The view is great. If Trip advisor would allow it that would be my review. However I have to write one hundred characters. This is not an inexpensive restaurant and so I judge it as such. My appetiser was straight from a high school home economics text book. The sort of thing young adults serve one another at their first... More

We walked around the town perusing the menus of the open restaurants and then came back to the one next to our hotel. We had a table right by the window so had a view of the valley. There are some set menus and also those a la carte. I chose the lamb and vegetables in a puff pastry for my... More

Had a great meal at Les Augustins. Food and service were excellent. The price wasn't cheap but it was very good value for money. Very high quality food. Good choice of quality wine but not cheap. We were the only people in there which I don't understand as it was a Friday night. I would expect it to be full... More

Seriously. I love food, I've traveled all over the world. If you appreciate food as art and want to experience a true French gourmet cuisine, you MUST visit. I spent time speaking with the waiter and demanded to see the chefs because I was blown away. Some people wear their hearts on their sleeves, but they put it into their... More

After being seated we were ignored (and restaurant was virtually empty) for over a half hour before being given menus. When server finally returned, he was so indifferent when we asked about preparation of some items that we decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere
