Cosy place for dinner, with tasty food. Super relaxed atmosphere. I found the staff very friendly and welcoming.

This was our only formal dinner out for the entire family of 10 + baby during our Christmas week skiing vacation in Meribel. We had already undertaken TripAdvisor reviews on the possible restaurants within the district of Meribel and what caught our eye was the available menu of Le Grain de Sel. We were not disappointed and had a fantastic... More

A group of us eating on the terrace ordered some big salads that we wanted to share. I asked for some small plates and was told they did not have any. Going inside I saw a pile of small plates and asked if we could use them. The staff snapped back that if I took them I would cause extra... More

Had a wondeful dinner here in February 2016. It was a quiet off peak evening but service was very friendly and all the food was delicious. Snails (6) , Entrecore steak, and lemon dessert. With a very nice bottle of local Mondeuse red wine the bill was exactly 100 euros total for the 2 of us. I can highly recommend... More

We had a nice table at the front of the restaurant with views outside. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and the staff were nice and friendly. Food and wine was excellent, started with onion soup and then fondue. Would definitely return.

We both loved the onion soup with croutons and cheese. Perfectly seasoned. I had a rare steak with potatoes and heritage vegetables for my main course. It was excellent. My wife enjoyed her pizza with three types of cheese. Lovely bottle of local red wine, coffee and genepi to accompany the food. The service was excellent. Very friendly people.

A wonderfully welcoming restaurant, tucked away from the main part of Meribel-Mottaret. The pizzas were freshly made (unlike other pizza restaurants in the vicinity) - we watched the chef hard at work. Unusual fries - funky! At the weekend, it is busy with the local clientele and that tells you something. Great value for money and we will definitely be... More

Great place. Nice atmosphere, views to the ski slopes. Very attentive people working there. The food was tasty and well maid. I liked the duck very much! It was crispy from outside and juicy inside :) Also the desert - chocolate cake - was outstanding.

We had two meals here, both very good including a large tasting menu with a big party news year eve. The food was really good and the service really excellent, they accommodated our pescatarian daughter with no fuss. The only mild downside was that it was a bit quiet, but the staff did there best to create atmosphere.

Went here on our last night on holiday and was lucky we hadn't found it earlier otherwise we would be twice the size when we left to come home. The food is really good, we went as a group of 7, kids and adults and we all had something different. Every dish was lovely. The onion soup was the best... More
