Relaxed atmosphere at an inexpensive price. Family touch means the food is like eating at home Madeira style.

Had a great lunch with some fish and salad. Very nice host. Professional and great quality food. Host chatted with us amd gave us a sample of medeira wine. Situated right next to spar supermarket. Must visit for a lunch, dinner or coffee.

Very friendly staff, good English, very good food, we went there 4 times during our stay. Great selection, recommend the seafood platter, 3 different kind of fish. Soup is great, nice little shot after the meal. one night I had Parrot fish, was the best. Awesome deserts, get their Garlic bread for sure.

We got quick friendly service although the restaurant was quite full. We had the chicken espetada, which was nicely seasoned but not crisp - grilled without the skin. The mixed fish platter had three different fish on it: a sardine, a kind of sea bass (previously frozen, the fat under the skin had an aftertaste), and merluza. It was our... More

firstly, please ignore the review from the Netherlands or Helen F. This place is definitely no frills, nothing posh or pretentious, maybe that is why they didn't rate it. I had the local beef cooked on a laurel kebab. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly. Service was very pleasant and prompt and polite. My wife had the fish special,... More

My wife and I ended up at this restaurant by mistake. We decided to stay anyway to give it a try... first, I wouldn't call a restaurant... it's more an overpriced snack bar. We were friendly served though, but based on what you get for the price you pay, I would look elsewhere.

Ate here twice whilst staying nearby and loved food both times. Because me and my wife loved the chicken kebab on the first visit we decided for have it again on the second too, it was beautiful. It comes as 4 chicken thighs on the bone and a choice of chips or rice, both were lovely and big portions. Service... More

More of a cafe than restaurant. Lacks atmosphere. Food just ok. Over priced for the quality of the food. Waitress pleasant but will not return.
