We were not disappointed at all. The food and service was excellent. Both of our meals were excellent.

The food was pretty good. The service was lackluster. We arrived at about 8 pm on Sunday, ordering the fried calamari to share as an appetizer, and two entrees. The calamari were supposed to come with an aioli and marinara. They only brought the marinara. The calamari were only OK - not great - a little on the chewy side.... More
My Lady and I had a taste for olde Italian. We each ordered spaghetti with meatballs. I’m not sure what those balls were, but I suggest you avoid them.
Enjoyed a nice and relaxing dinner. Don't let the shopping front fool you. We had a nice server and enjoyed the multitude of options. The Chicken Parmesan was very good. They had a great apple flavored old fashioned, definitely worth getting!
Good Italian food in Norfolk is hard to find and this reatuarant is one of the best. We love their eggplant parmesan. The tomato sauce is not too tart as most americanized Italian food

Some of the best Italian in Norfolk, hands down, and a great value, to boot. The outside seating is a bit unfortunate, but once dinner arrives, you'll be too delighted to care. Besides, the indoor seating is ample and comfortable.
I was in town for a festival and discovered La Bella with a friend. Its been a few years, but we are returning to Norfolk in June for another festival and plan on dining there again. Our food was delicious, the sort of meal that you eat slowly and savor every bite.
