Fantastic place to visit, very friendly people and reasonably priced hotels and restaurants. We really liked White Waters Hotel and O Goncalves restaurant, really nice staff and the owner is great !

Trouble was my beer, which was not cold enough and a bit metallic (possibly first of day?). Nice attention to good food.

Lovely restaurant near the Dom Pedro hotel. Very good choice on the menu and very good quality food. Lovely welcome from staff. Very clean and well presented restaurant.

Dinner here. Food good. Service good. Don’t expect a gastronomic experience. As with all restaurants we visited sugggest you ask for salad instead of overcooked veg. Salad was plentiful and tasty

TripAdvisor rates this place as pricey but we found it to be very reasonable - delicious mixed grill of four different types of fish with generous vegetables and potatoes for only 15 euros. Staff were very friendly and showed us specific fish / brought desserts...out to talk us through. Very pleasant sat outside on veranda. Nice atmosphere with locals dining and laughing.More

Reminds me of Italian Bistros! Really enjoyed having lunch outside in the balcony! Perfect for a couples meal! And there is still a big room inside with plenty of spaces
