You will get great service and awesome traditional food from the northern region of Portugal. Ingredients are fresh, olive oil is great and the taste is delicious. The dessert buffet is incredible, but expect to pay accordingly. Can only recommend.

We were almost 20 people.Food apart , it is a very suitable place for groups travelling together. The rustic style with varied entries and all the desserts almost made the main course dispensable. It was easy to choose a suitable wine. A must to go there. We came back for a 2nd visit with a smaller bunch of people and... More

An unambitious choice which suited our need for a meal at affordable prices in a location convenient to the centre . The seating outside was very adequate although the proximity of an occasionally busy quay-side road meant occasional disturbance. Staff were helpful and made good recommendations. Food and wine very much what we expected.

We had the clams, the portugeese cheese platter and cabbage soup and the were all fantastic! The bread, olives and house white wine were also great!

Tourist trap (not worth the money). Service was oh so slow (enough time to knit a sweater). Food was cold and quality was poor.

We went there on a july sunny week day for lunch. We noticed the tables outside were empty but we didn't think much of it. I wanted to invite my Canadian friend to taste some is the Portuguese tapas for which I thought this restaurant was well known for. As we sat down, the waiter served us water, olives, cheese... Oh if you stop in Porto, you really have to go to this restaurant, it is just by the Augusta Port Showroom. The food was EXCELLENT, really good and well cooked. The waiter was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. We would certainly go to this restaurant again, when we go back to Porto.

After spending a couple of nights in the valley we headed down to Porto. The Adega was recommended by the hotel as a good local Portuguese place (if a bit touristy). Maybe we'd been spoilt by some cracking local places in Pinhao and Regua but here just did not cut it. The meats and cheese on the table were very... More

Tasty food, polite and nice staff, very good white sangria and delicious desserts. Location is just best with very good view to the river.

Best Smoked ham I ate while in Porto, can say the same for the shrimp, it was fresh and sweet. would have liked it more if it was deviened.Octopus was fresh but seemed a little overdone. it was a light snack type of early lunch and well worth it. please note; all restaurants in Porto put appetizers on the table...
