One of the reasons we keep coming back to Porto is this restaurant. Their sauce has a unique, rich texture that makes it stand out—I’d love to know their secret recipe! All the staff, including Josue and D, are always friendly and professional, making each visit a pleasure. We wanted to return on our last day, but sadly couldn’t. 😢 I can’t wait for my next visit!

Pasta perfection - absolutely delectable carbonara and bolognese in an unpretentious spot with friendly and efficient service at the end of the market along the waterfront in Gaia. The aperol
spritz was delicious too (and the portion very generous)! So glad we happened upon this place!

Simple but delicious pastas (Arriabata & Carbonara) in a food hall...prepared quite quickly. Nice guys behind the counter. We didn't mind the environment itself, but you won't be dining there in terms of ambiance. Prices top!
There are many different dishes available in the same food hall. Recommended!

Sadly, I didn’t think pasta could be messed up so badly, however, when you fail to cook it fully, it’s inedible. I took it back after the first bite, only to be told that that is how they cook all of their pasta, under done, and I don’t mean a little under done, I mean barely cooked it all. This was not al dente, this was fully undercooked. They said this was Italian, I’ve been to Italy probably 10 times and have months there on the ground eating actual good pasta, these cooks are not the real deal. Avoid this place at all cost. I have ate around the world, and this was pathetic. They didn’t offer a refund and I didn’t want it, this review will be my good deed to all who read it. It was worth the cost to spread this warning.

We used their delivery service for two consecutive evenings. Pasta Bolognese, pasta with tomato sauce, salad and bruschetta. All of excellent quality and very generous portions. Pasta cooked perfectly. honest prices. 9 euros for the salad and 13 euros for the pasta with Bolognese sauce

Excellent restaurant, the best pasta I've ever eaten in Portugal. I had the opportunity to try the carbonara, matriciana, truffle and ggnocchi. All were extremely well prepared, with high quality ingredients, bringing the best of Italy to Portugal. Worth a try. :)

I saw high ratings for this place inside the food market and had to give it a try. I love a fun combination of flavors, and this did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked and delicious! Here’s a photo of the dish before and after it was mixed up. I was instructed to mix up the chocolate. The menu item read: fusilli, cream, Gorgonzola cheese, walnuts, dehydrated green apple, and cocoa powder.

The stand is within a covered food hall together with 20 other stands, all are street food ish and tables are shared with others. I couldn’t have bruschetta as they had no bread. I had a salad and spaghetti alla amatriciana. Salad ok, pasta was al dente and ok, sauce very salty. The experience was uninspiring.

We did not even see this stand in the market hall because it is “hidden” in the corner. Nevertheless, we decided to eat the linguine carbonara here. And I have to say: rarely have I eaten such a good CLASSIC Carbonara (without cream and co)! Would always go back here, it was very delicious! It may still be important to know that quality comes before quantity and it is not a huge portion! But I don't think that's the most important thing with the delicious food!;)

I had very good food here. I ate the spaghetti carbonara, my brother had a risotto dish and my father had spaghetti bolognese. We were all incredibly pleased with our meals and the workers were very charismatic. I recommend to anyone and everyone.

Initially I felt strange about going for Italian food while we were in Portugal, but I was ready for a little change. Fantastic decision! It is in the food court area in Vila Nova de Gaia right across the river from Porto. It was so fresh and delicious. We had the Carbonara and a special they had poste of Risotto (prosciutto, leeks, pecorino & chili flakes) I really want to make it myself. I keep thinking about it, it was that good! Both the pasta and risotto were cooked perfectly, not at all mushy and just enough bite. On top of all they, they were extremely kind. Great experience.

So this restaurant insists on not having telephone contact!!!
Maybe it's for people to go without an appointment and stand around waiting to be seen for hours?!?!?
Crazy!! No way.

WOW! There is really no other word to describe the here. Simply fresh and delicious. We got the fusilli pesto alla genovese and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you are in the area DO NOT sleep on this market place. The pasta at Pasta Amore E Fantasia is an absolute must.

We were in search for a great Italian dish and happened upon this marketplace. Pasta Amore Fantasia was absolutely delicious. We had the burrata salad, risotto and carbonara. Don’t miss the limoncello, it is outstanding! We loved it so we came back the next day. Our favorite part is the top notch service and recommendations from Josue! He was amazing. Thank you!

Great pasta. Informal food hall, so loads of choice and easy atmosphere. Would recommend penne arrabiata along with the fussile with gorgonzola! Ps there is a vegan food option too.
