In the heart of the ancient fishermen village of Afurada, the restaurant offers typical mediterranean seafood. Sardinhas and sargos (breams) roasted on grills in the street are tasty and served with boiled potatoes. Simple food, walls covered with nice azulejos as decoration and you can enjoy your meal.

We had read great reviews about this restaurant & we weren't disappointed. We had gorgeous fresh sardines & tasty belly pork straight from the grill with a crisp dry white & fresh salad. We sat on a large table outside but the interior was tastefully decorated & we had lovely friendly service plus a really reasonable bill, highly recommended .

Seriously a gem in every sense--quaint, charming ma-and-pa restaurant in the heart of Afurada (just 10 mintues away from the main riverfront in Vila Nova de Gaia). We arrived at 3:30PM when most of the other restaurants had already closed for the day and staff greeted us with warmth and hospitality. The food was plentiful, tasty and incredibly fresh! We... The food was great the service wasn't. The house vino verde was really good with a bit of sprits - we didn't get the soup that we ordered but the grilled cuttlefish with ink was great and the sole was perfect.Had to ask for our potatoes. Because of the lack of service we didn't get dessert or coffee - just... More

Afuranda - the fishing village where this restaurant is located - is a MUST experience when visiting Porto. Sao Pedro offers fresh grilled fish that are wonderful. We had the sardines that were yum - ask for half a portion for half the price and get five fat sardines - but especially recommand the Dourada fish that was perfect. The... More
