Food, ambiance, staff, value, It is just gobsmacking! From superb Greek salad amazing desserts, every single element of every single thing we were served was memorable. I'm not just going to talk about it, I'll let the photos speak for it instead. We will go back to Cadaques just to visit es grec and its charming proprietor.

We stayed in the hotel next door and stopped in es grec a few times just to enjoy a glass of wine. I should say "stopped out" because we sat at the tables literally in the middle of the street, which are set up every evening. It is charming and delightful to just sit, sip wine and take in the... Es Grec restaurant Unio, 11 Cadeques Tel 973252071 Email esgrecs@gmail.com This was another find. It is not along the sea-front but a view is the only thing it doesn't have! It was right next to our hotel which is why we chose it as the weather was disappointingly chilly. The experience of Es Grecs would warm any heart. We will... More

Nice place, period. Our dinner? Not so nice. The worst thing? The service. Slow, slow, slow and not at the height. The food? Quite good, if they remember greek recipes. Price? Not so nice. PS They brought us a greek salad. Without olives, period. At the end of dinner, when we reminded them that, they looked on us, almost as... More

You can trust on the owner. With Greek origins he start up these lovely restaurant. Forget the tradicional sea-restaurant with “paella & sangria”. Fresh fish, excellent rice, and Greek salad. The restaurant is hide in the old town, and a reservation in advance is mandatory.

A small intimate fish restaurant with inspiration from Greece in his salads. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. We had the Paella with fish and it was very tastefull. Service is quick and genuine. My daugther on 8 enjoyed watching the chef cooked as it is a open kitchen. When we left he gave her a small present. The... More
