So many great reviews of this excellent restaurant, what can I add? Our applause for all staff both front and back. Our applause for a great concept that so rhymes with current eating trends. Our applause for a menu full of treats magically concocted. Our...More

The theme of the restaurant is in the title. We were 3 adults so we shared 3 first and second courses. For our son chef did a lovely tonato pasta with cheese...his favorite. To start we shared strawberry salad, tuna caneloni and buñols de bacalao....More

We didn't book but came early evening (7pm) and were lucky to get a table. As the name suggests, dishes are for sharing. Excellent service, exquisite food and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend going here for dinner.

Simply superb meal in lovely surroundings and such friendly helpful staff. The sharing concept and ability to have starters in half portions allows you to taste a lot of their dishes. Our stand outs - strawberries, cream and gazpacho sorbet; tuna cannelloni; Lobster main course;...More

Upon arriving to Compartir we were seated in their beautiful courtyard. The concept of the restaurant is to create your own tasting menu you so to speak and share the dishes with each other. The service was great and they were very accommodating in explaining...More

We had a wonderful meal here. Every single course in the tasting menu was superb. The service was good and the price reasonable. We have eaten at many Michelin star restaurants and cannot understand why this restaurant does not have a Michelin star. It deserves...More

Definitely good food and excellent service. Expensive. If you're in Cadaques then Compartir is worth trying. In summer you can sit in a beautiful stone courtyard. There is no view of anything but the setting is nice. The restaurant gets busy during summer and has...More

We had an excellent meal at Compartir, sharing and enjoying every course. We liked the idea of the tasting menu but felt 9 courses would be too much, so we asked our waitress if they could adapt the menu to 6 courses of their choice....More

No, there are no large seafood dishes. Everything comes in small portions, typically 4 bite-sized servings per dish, some slightly larger.

Hi, It's an 2 hour dinner for sure. There is a paid public parking like 2 or 3 blocks away from the restaurant. You are going to finish your dinner at 11pm, so I think is better to bring your rental car to the dinner and... More

The restaurant Compartir opened in April 2012 led by Mateu Casañas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch. As its name indicates, the cuisine is presented on central dishes for sharing. This transforms the concept of “appetisers” and takes it one step further, as well as creating a surprising and uninhibited ambience among the diners. The menu offers markedly modern dishes and also more traditional suggestions, such as rice dishes. The restaurant is in the historical centre of Cadaqués in an emblematic building that was refurbished at the beginning of the 18th century. One of its main attractive features is the large courtyard where visitors are welcomed and which is a clear example of the identity of this unique corner of the Costa Brava and the Creus Cape. The premises, the rapport with clients and the food, served in an informal and relaxed setting, all work together to transmit our philosophy to visitors, characterised by the search for clients’ greatest satisfaction in all aspects. Know-how that is passed on every day thanks to the team led in the kitchen by Marc, David, Víctor, Ander, Alejandro and Molins and in the dining room by Ramon, Roger, Sara, Marga and Tassi. Currently, Compartir is recognised in the most important gastronomic guides: Compartir has a rating of Two Suns in the Repsol Guide and is recommended by the Michelin Guide. In December 2014 Casañas, Castro and Xatruch’s second project was brought to fruition: the restaurant Disfrutar in Barcelona, with a different proposal to that of Compartir, clearly avant-garde and with a tasting menu format.
