Lovely venue, great service and a really good menu. Visited here with the family, we had an amazing meal. Nice Catalan salad to share then brilliant main courses chicken and chips for the kids, steak with pepper sauce for my wife and pigs cheeks with mushroom sauce for me. This has to be one of the best meals we had... More

Love the Galan. Wonderful rustic family run restaurant, very popular with locals for speciality Galta de Porc which is delicious melt in your mouth Pigs cheek that has been braised (recipe a secret been asking for 10years now ). This year we visited for my farther in-laws 72nd Birthday and they sand to him and bought out sparklers and gave... More

Very good local specialities here especially Pigs cheek. Atomospheric restaurant with lots of beams and old photos when it was fishing village. Some staff not too friendly, more interested in squeezing as many people in as possible and making you shift tables. Good local desert "recuit" kind of junket with almonds and honey

50 years of excellent food, service that few restaurants in the village can equal. Traditional food cooked just like you are at home with a touch of class but not high prices. Great for families too, this restaurant is open most of the year, give it a go and you wont be disappointed.....fantastic staff and service, with good healthy portions!!

The attention from the waitress was great, and the foodwas good if you know what you're going to eat. Don't expect elaborated food, instead they serve some kinds of beef with simple potatoes, eggs and tomatoes, but they're pretty good. Wine is well selected with most of autoctonous not-expensive wines. The only bad thing I could say is that they... More

I visited this restaurant many years ago and remembered eating the delicious pigs cheeks so decided to repeat the experience. Pigs cheeks still delicious but it was served with a fried egg and chips, which was strange. Rest of menu very basic but would say this is just an average sort of place. Interesting interior but you can't eat outside.

Not sure what their specialty should be but to us it was not visiblle. Lots of tourists and menu's in 4 languages. Food is good but not special and most definitely not typical Catalan. We had high hopes after finding the place packed to the brim with people one night but we came out disappointed.

After being very satisfied with the value for money offered by Galan over many years, we were extremely disappointed this year when we visited on a Sunday night in June. I was looking forward to my usual pig's cheek with fried egg but they had run out of them. I then asked for hamburger and chips only to be told... More
