When we arrived to the restaurant there were already around 20 people waiting to sit, even though they all had booked previously. They had us waiting for one hour in the cold.

Meson del Conde is the grand old man of St Marti d'Empuries. It's food is substantial and always good, but if you are there in the season of the calcots, that's when it is at its best.
