After visiting the weekend before last we booked a table for 6 last Sunday for us and visiting family from Scotland. Service was very slow and starters cold with my lentil soup too spicy. I ended up leaving most of my trio roast and my wifes main course was cold aswell. It took so long for the food to arrive... More

When we went on a Saturday lunchtime it was packed with families with young children. The food was Ok as was the beer and averagely priced but it was all standard fare. Dogs are not allowed in the pub but it has tables outside. So OK if I needed to eat and I was near but not worth a detour

As usual, a warm welcome from Karen and her staff. Atmosphere was very relaxed and service from Guy (our waiter) was excellent. The chef should be really proud of his efforts, as his various dishes for our party of four were really appetising and beautifully presented. We're eagerly awaiting our next visit.
