We were up in Goole for the weekend so perused T.A to find some possible nosh options. The Peppered Pig serves some great food that is for sure. Nice friendly staff, plenty of space and light in the main eating area. I opted for a...More

Stopped here to break a journey and we were very impressed. Beautifully and roomily laid out. We received a very warm Yorkshire welcome and our light lunch was excellent. We noticed a dedicated GF menu (don't see many of these). The small shop area was...More

Visited on Thursday evening after promising to take our chef friend. Ordered the Cateaubriand when we booked and I have to say it is the very best I have ever had. The meat was cooked to perfection and cut like velvet! There were some new...More

A hidden gem! The afternoon tea is gorgeous with generous sandwiches of hand carved ham, egg and beef. Mini cakes and fresh cream scones, washed down with a glass of fizz!

We travelled from Chester to meet some family and went here for afternoon tea. They presented a selection of savory and sweet selections on a tiered plate display. Food was great, the atmosphere was relaxing and the service was friendly. Great place to catch up

Dropped in on a sunny Saturday morning with another couple who knew about the place. We sat outside and had our orders taken quickly, and then waited for our various choices of breakfasts to arrive. All arrived at the same time, hot and tasty and...More
