Calld into the Garden Centre and we decided to grab lunch/ The queue was fairly long, but to be expected I guess. The beetroot fritters were great! As was the beetroot and feta salad. My two friend both had jacket potatoes which were really nice...More

Late lunch, Friday. Stooks is situated within a garden centre that finds itself in the middle of significant residential building development - thousands of homes have gone up, and Stooks is probably picking up all the business from people buying for their new (bare) gardens,...More

Have eaten here before and it has been lovely.....not today. Had chicken and pesto mayonnaise. Was dry tasteless chicken and pesto mayonnaise was just very thickly spread pesto, neat and much too strong for the sandwich on the plus side the foccacia was tasty. We...More

Food wise, it's not good value. Gluten free yes, but no effort made. My partner had a delicious looking sandwich, my gluten free version, same price, was a sad looking affair. Great staff, efficient service, lovely location.

Nice healthy salads but could do with more variety. Good ambiance and friendly staff. Good for lunch and easily accessible for wheelchairs.

We took some friends here for Sunday lunch. They are open 12 to 4, but when we arrived at 2 o'clock, they had run out of roast dinners so we had to choose from the menu. 3 of us chose the lamb dish, which was...More

Used this nice nursery for some years. Then it grew rapidly, as a large estate appeared & a huge cafe [Stooks] appeared. Thought this was wonderful, lovely place, peaceful atmosphere, great staff & range of goodies. Now a victim of it's own success, three times...More

The food is very healthy and freshly prepared. A lot of the vegetables are grown in the attached garden. Whether you go for breakfast or lunch the choice is very good. The building is a lovely setting with windows looking onto the plants in the...More

Standing as a proud new restaurant within Newbridge Nurseries garden Centre, Stooks is something just as special as Newbridge Nurseries itself. Unique, exciting and different. When we opened in 2012, we wanted to create somewhere that people would travel to from all over Horsham, Sussex and Surrey."Our vision for Stooks was to create something completely different to anything found in any other Garden Centre. It needed to be a restaurant that could show off our passion for food, character and beautiful decor. We wanted to create somewhere customers would travel to enjoy a new and exciting dining experience.Just as important to us is our responsibility to the environment and the planet.
