Such a beautiful hotel with a lovely restaurant and great service. The food is just lovely. The service is excellent and the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel itself is very accommodating and it almost has a family atmosphere.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 days for my birthday- although our trip was brief it was pleasant.... Sort of.. The first night was fantastic, no issues whatsoever room/sleep wise. Rooms are lovely, great location to local amenities and professional welcome. However our second night was a living hell. The venue was used as a wedding/nightclub/booze up -... More

It was a warm weekend (unusual for Manchester I know) so the room was hot and we couldn't leave the window open. Breakfast... More

We selected from the Table de Hote menu which was very good but you did tend to "waddle" from the table afterwards - suggest you stick to the Ala Carte if you... More

Stanneylands used to have a good reputation for food, so I was especially disappointed on my last visit. I dropped in for lunch with my mother and found that the restaurant was no longer open for lunch, but we could eat in the bar. No problem. I chose salmon and my mother chicken and mushroom pie. Big mistake! The salmon... More
