I meet with friends here a couple of times a year and the food has always been good. A good choice of food and a reasonable price for lunchtimes. Very friendly staff. Nothing was rushed and we weren't bothered by staff always asking "is everything ok". Lovely place to eat outside during good weather. Online booking is so convenient. Definitely... More

Went on Saturday evening. Warm welcome. Sat down took a while for someone to take our order. Had scallop and prawns in garlic to start. When it finally come it was beautiful, not a huge portion but tasted amazing. Thought I'd keep it simple for main. Mixed grill well done. Well after 20 minutes of waiting another drink was needed.... We have been eating at this Restaurant many times over a decade or more. Most of the time we found it excellent. Today we found the staff under pressure and the service slow. The fish cake slightly over fried. The atmosphere and setting very pleasant as always with a good feel factor.

We have had a few meals here when we stay at the Airport Inn and never had a bad experience. I decided to take my mum for dinner as she had booked the same hotel and we were dropping her off. We have all eaten here before so knew what to expect and set off earlier than planned to make... More

Decided to visit for a drink, the place warm and welcoming, staff attentive. We decided to have a light snack, I ordered chicken on the bone, which I've had at previous M and B sites, my friend had the calamari. When it arrived I looked at the extremely small dish that contained 2 small and dry chicken wings, as they... More

We went here for a bite to eat and it's such a lovely presented pub. Plenty of tables, atmosphere is really chilled, great choice of food and great staff. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning.

We came here for my parents wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The food was probably the nicest meal I have ever had and the service was brilliant! All the food came out together and everything was correct, even with with such a large order. Our waitress was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately did not get her name (Blonde hair and... More

Visited on the way back from Jodrell Bank. Very attractive pub with friendly staff who greeted us on arrival. They have an extensive menu and you can pick and choose whether you have table service. Food came very quickly and was tasty and delicious. The chicken my fella had looked far superior to my club sandwich and he enjoyed it... More

I came here a few weeks ago for Sunday lunch and the service and food were excellent even though all the tables were full and was therefore very busy so, it was a very easy decision to make a Mother's Day booking......I originally booked for #4 people (and paid a £5 per head deposit) but a couple of days later...
