We tried to leave Fogo at 2pm, to arrive in Twillingate around 4:30pm, but the ferry did not leave until after 5. We were worried we would not make it to Twillingate before all the restaurants closed. We phoned here and they reassured us not...to worry. The staff went above and beyond and were extremely friendly. The food and dessert were delicious, and the deck seating with a gorgeous view of the sunset was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend!More
Delicious food ... amazing staff ... And a beautiful view ❤️.
We recently had the pleasure of dining here as a group of 5 people. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We tried the seafood chowder, scallops, mussels,crab...spring rolls, crab legs, lobster, fish cakes, seafood pasta, calamari, and dessert. Everything was so fresh, and delicious. Anyone who's in the area should definitely go and show your support. If you're not in the area, it's worth the drive, so still go and show your support lol.More
Visited one afternoon, really just past the lunch hour. With the restrictions due to COVID, it was a little different. There were just 3 tables inside and many more outside. It was a beautiful day and most outside tables were occupied. Spouse had the seafood...chowder and her favourite, Lobster Roll. The chowder is one that has more seafood than you would expect. Still as good as ever. I tried the fish and chips and again, was not surprised as they have one of the best fish and chips in the province, if not the best.
The service was super and the pricing is very good as well. We will be going back later the summer.More
Went to have supper with a group of 13. Place was very busy but we were able to get 2 picnic tables and set up on the opposite wharf. Beautiful warm evening so made our experience extra special. There was a long wait on food...but when we got it, it was well worth the wait. A gem of place. Awesome food, wicked service, and true Newfoundland Hospitality. A must if in the area.More
This place has some of the best - if not THE BEST seafood. We were waited on by the loveliest lady who was attentive, and greeted by a manager during our meal to make sure everything was amazing. Safety was a priority for this establishment...and had super clean washrooms.
We had calamari - the breading was to die for. The fish and chips were hot and made with the freshest tasting cod, and the seafood pasta was incredibly well portioned, packed with almost equal parts fresh seafood and pasta.More

Take highway 340 and travel south. Once you get to Newville turn right onto the County Road. We went in September and reservations weren't required. July and August will be their busy season so I would phone ahead. We stayed in a B@B in Carmanville and they highly recommended Doyle Sansome @ Sons Lobster so it is indeed a popular destination.
