Georgie's is one of my favourite spots to eat in Twillingate. They offer exceptional seafood alongside a diverse menu that caters to non-seafood lovers as well. Those in search of a meal with an ocean view should consider stopping by on a visit to Twillingate,...Newfoundland.More

If you want down-home breakfast, Newfoundland style, eat here. They have the best "toutons" we had in the Province. Service was extremely friendly and views are lovely. Ask for a window table.

Dined at 10 restaurants in NL and this was our only disappointment. The quality does not match the photos so lower your expectations. Arrived for a 6:30 pm dinner reservation and the lobster special was sold out! All the large groups were placed in tables...by the window and all tables for 2 were placed at the back of the restaurant, so book for 4 if you want to a table with a viewMore

Enjoyed immensely the pan fried cod with scrunchions & the root vegetables. Instead of the rice, I ordered the baby red potatoes - yum! Our server was very pleasant and attentive. One friend had the ginger apple soup which she said was delicious. Pricier than...other restaurants in town but worth it. Would definitely go again.More

I live in New Orleans, Louisiana so we have very high seafood standards. Georgie's was excellent. Excellent ingredients cooked well... a very simple formula for a perfect meal. I had the lobster, which is pretty standard. We also had the ginger and carrot soup (excellent)...and the fish tacos (a local version of fish tacos... not like South of the Border, but excellent). The next day we returned and I had steak... great cut of meat! The potatoes and vegetables were excellent. My husband had the chicken...also done very well. I highly recommend visiting and booking in advance as this place is also a common large group destination and tables disappear quickly. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful!More

Over the past several years, this restaurant has been consistently our favorite in Twillingate and we have dined at them all. The Fish Cakes, the Salmon, and the Seafood Pasta are all fantastic. The desserts are all made in house and we recommend you try...them all! The service is excellent and the views are amazing. On a warm summer evening, this restaurant has a comfortable air conditioned environment. Highly recommended!More

First and foremost we should say that the dinner was excellent. But the reason we will remember this dinner over others is because of the service Sam provided. Our husbands (who had had a little bit too much to drink) and Sam (we can only...thank her for her patience) proceeded to entertain us for the whole time we were in the restaurant. Many of the guests were thankfully laughing as well. Frankly we think she should be a comedian!!!! She gave as much as she got!!! Thank you Sam for being such a good sport!!! We really enjoyed the food. For my part, the sesame crusted scallops were to die for. Thank you for a wonderful (and witty) evening!!! Guests from Vancouver.More

We were so excited to eat here. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the hype. The pan fried cod was excellent. Scallop’s in sesame seeds was good, but the seafood platter was cold.

A very friendly, lovely restaurant. Dress is casual. Although we did not have a reservation and there was a bus group there, we were greeted cheerfully by Brandon and assured they’d be able to accommodate us in a few minutes — which they did. And...we had a lovely window table! A large bottle of water was immediately brought to our table. Once our order was taken complimentary bread and balsamic dip was brought. Bread was warm and tasted great. I ordered the Screech salmon and even though I frequently eat salmon, I can honestly say this was the best salmon I have EVER had. Cooked to perfection with a light, crispy glaze that was delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes were good (needed a bit of salt and unfortunately there was none on the table), and perfectly cooked root vegetables. My father had the fish and chips and said they were among the best he has had. We will return for an encore! And the staff were like everyone we’ve met, warm and friendly. Only downside was a limited wine list - wish they were a few more options, especially by the glass.More

My husband and I ate at Georgie’s our first night in Twillinggate.
